The Automation Series — Part 1
The Automation Series is a four-part series that aims to help you automate your life. In this first article, we’ll be covering some basic concepts and strategies for how to get started with automating your own life.
In future articles, we’ll discuss specific services that can be used to automate certain tasks (such as Evernote), as well as some more advanced techniques for creating automated systems that are truly “smart.”
Introduction
Automation is the process of creating a system that can be used by other people or devices to perform tasks automatically. Automation has been around since the beginning of time, when humans first invented tools like hammers and levers. Today, automation technology is more advanced than ever before: from self-driving cars to smart homes where lights turn on when you walk into a room and windows open when it’s hot out, there are many ways that we’re using machines today to make our lives easier and better.
Automating your life can help save time and energy so that you have more freedom over how you spend your days — instead of spending hours doing things manually every day (like updating social media accounts), automation allows us all types of possibilities! The possibilities are endless when it comes down choosing which tools will work best for each person’s needs; however there are many options available already today through services such as Zapier or IFTTT (If This Then That).
